第三届土木建筑及灾害防控国际学术会议(CADPC 2022)

       目前世界各地人口不断增长,人类活动的范围不断扩大,直接或间接导致环境条件变得更多变且复杂。每日全球面临的环境、地质和天气等多种灾害的频次更高,诱因更复杂,不同类型的灾害都给人类带来难以计量的损失和伤害。

       在如此复杂的条件下,如何通过科学技术发展,为人类的生命、生存环境、基础设施、重大工程减少受害情况,成为工程学科中最重要、最活动和最具挑战性的课题。提升建筑技术和灾害预测、灾害防控等技术是其中较为关键的首要措施。原“土木建筑与污染控制国际学术会议(ICCAPC)”研讨主题改为“第三届土木建筑及灾害防控国际学术会议(CADPC 2022)”,希望借此机会可进一步提升建筑技术和预测、抵抗灾害的关联性。

       第三届土木建筑及灾害防控国际学术会议(CADPC 2022)以“土木建筑”、“灾害预测”、“灾害防控”、“灾后重建”等主题展开学术研讨,为高校学者、科研人员及相关企业工程技术人员提供一个共享科研成果和前沿技术,了解学术发展趋势,拓宽研究思路,加强学术研究和探讨,促进学术成果产业化合作的平台。大会诚邀国内外高校、科研机构专家、学者、企业界人士及其他相关人员参会交流。

Mohammadreza Vafaei (PhD, P. Eng.)

Field of Specialty and Interest: Seismic design and rehabilitation, Structural health monitoring, Signal processing, Neural networks and Wavelet Transforms

Dr. Mohammadreza Vafaei has joined Department of Structure and Materials, School of Civil Engineering of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, UTM since 2013, and has served as associate professor since 2020.

Dr. Mohammadreza Vafaei has published many scientific articles in top-tier journals and conferences, including 34 in SI-indexed (Web of Science), and 14 in SCOPUS-indexed Journals, etc. He is also the editorial member for journals, such as the Open Civil Engineering Journal (Scopus Index), the Open Construction & Building Technology Journal (Scopus Index), and the reviewer for more than 10 journals and conferences, such as the Journal of Structure and Infrastructure Engineering, Bulletin of Earthquake Engineering Journal, Construction and Building Materials Journal, International Conference on Advanced Science, Engineering and Technology (ICASET) 2015, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia, etc.

He is elected as the member of Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI), USA, American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE), USA, Seismological Society of America (SSA), USA, International Society for Structural Health Monitoring of Intelligent Infrastructure, Iranian Construction Engineer Organization, Iranian Earthquake Engineering Association, and Nan Yang Academy of Science (Singapore). Dr. Vafaei is a keynote speaker and facilitator at many academic or influential conferences, including 2nd and 3rd Global Conference and Expo on Applied Science, Engineering and Technology in Amsterdam, Netherlands and Dubai, UAE. He receives many awards in this field, including Gold Medal in International Conference and Exposition on Inventions by Institutions of Higher Learning (Pecipta) 2019, UTHM for “Innovative Visco-Elastic Damper for Vibration Control in Structures and Infrastructures”, Anugerah Penerbitan, Anugerah Kualiti Sekolah Kejuruteraan Awam 2018, Research Advisor for Nan Yang Academy of Sciences (Singapore), and Silver Medal for Earthquake resistance Smart Column from INATEX, etc.

Distinguished Professor. Zhifeng Xu

School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Wuhan Institute of Technology

(许峙峰 特聘教授,武汉工程大学土木工程与建筑学院)

Research Area: Structural Reliability, Probabilistic Mechanics, Fracture Mechanics, Probability and Statistics, Smart algorithms.

Guaduated from University of Minnesota, Twin-Cities in May 2019, majoring in civil engineering.

Worked for Itasca Consulting Group, Inc. as a software engineering from August 2019 to July 2020.

Work for Wuhan Institute of Technology as a distinguished professor from December 2020 to present.

Research interests include structural reliability, fracture mechanics, probabilistic mechanics, probability and statistics, smart algorithms.

Participated in the research projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of USA, and U.S. Army Research Office.

Published 7 SCI journal papers, 4 of which are of the first author (including one that published on the top journal of solid mechanics – Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids).

Led the development of the smart software for meshing and finite element modeling – Griddle 2.0.

2019年5月博士毕业于明尼苏达大学双城分校土木工程专业。

2019年8月至2020年7月于Itasca Consulting Group, Inc.任软件工程师。

2020年12月至今于武汉工程大学任特聘教授。

主要研究方向为结构可靠度、断裂力学、概率力学、概率与统计、智能算法。

参与国家自然科学基金、美国国家自然科学基金及美国陆军研究办公室研究项目。

已发表SCI期刊论文7篇,其中以第一作者发表SCI论文4篇(含一篇固体力学顶级期刊—Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids论文)。

曾主导开发过网格划分及有限元建模智能软件—Griddle 2.0。

Speech Title: Analytical approximations for the frequency response, localization factor and attenuation coefficient of one-dimensional periodic foundations(一维周期基础频率响应、局部化因子及衰减系数的解析近似解) 

Abstract: This research studies the frequency related properties of one-dimensional periodic foundations and further proposes analytical approximations for the frequency response, localization factor and attenuation coefficient of these structures. The proposed analytical approximations are validated numerically. In addition, a matrix of frequency responses are defined and used in the investigation of the corresponding superstructure-foundation coupling effect.

Research Area: Geotechnical Engineering, Geophysical Exploration, Engineering Seismic, etc.

Xinlin Wan, male, PhD, postgraduate supervisor. Deputy Chairman of the Foundation Testing Professional Committee of Anhui Construction Engineering Quality Supervision and Testing Association, Expert of Anhui Engineering Survey and Foundation Standardization Technical Committee, and Anhui Earthquake Disaster Assessment Expert.

He has presided over and participated in more than 10 scientific research projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the special scientific research funds for doctoral programs in colleges and universities, the Joint Fund for Earthquake Science, and provincial and ministerial levels; presided over more than 100 industry-university-research projects entrusted by enterprises and institutions; published more than 40 academic papers, including over 20 SCI and EI indexed papers, and 2 patents of utility model.

He has successively undertaken courses such as geotechnical engineering testing technology, geophysical exploration, and principles and methods of electrical exploration; edited and co-edited 5 practical coursebooks for higher education.

宛新林,男,博士,硕士生导师。安徽省建设工程质量监督检测协会地基基础检测专业委员会副主任委员、安徽省工程勘察与地基基础标准化技术委员会平生专家、安徽省地震灾害评估专家。

先后主持与参与国家自然科学基金、高等学校博士学科点专项科研基金和地震科学联合基金、省部级等各类科研项目10余项;主持企事业单位委托产学研项目100余项;发表学术论文40多篇,其中SCI、EI收录论文20余篇;实用新型专利2项。 

先后承担岩土工程测试技术、地球物理勘探、电法勘探原理与方法等课程主讲工作;主编与参编高等学校规划教材5部。

Research Area: Solid waste reuse;Seismic resilience of engineering structures

Deng Peng, doctoral supervisor, associate professor, project leader of national key R & D program, graduated from Colorado School of Mines in United States, and engaged in the research on seismic resilience theory of engineering structures and building industrialization technology based on solid waste reuse. Presided over 1 National Key Research and Development Program of China, 1 Major Research Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 youth program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and 1 sub project of scientific and technological innovation leading plan of high-tech industry in Hunan Province; Participated in 1 major science and technology project in Hunan Province and 3 projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). More than 20 papers have been published in ASCE, Journal of structural engineering, Engineering Structures, Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering and other authoritative journals.

邓鹏,博士生导师,副教授,国家重点研发计划课题负责人。博士毕业于美国科罗拉多矿业大学,从事工程结构地震韧性理论、基于固废再利用的建筑工业化技术研究。主持国家重点研发计划课题1项、国家自然科学基金重大项目子课题1项、国家自然科学基金青年项目1项、湖南省高新技术产业科技创新引领计划子课题1项;参与湖南省科技重大专项1项、美国自然科学基金会(NSF)和美国地质调查局(USGS)资助项目3项。目前已经在ASCE、Journal of Structural Engineering和Engineering Structures等结构工程权威期刊、Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America和Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering等权威期刊共发表论文20余篇。

Speech Title: Experimental Investigation of Seismic Uncertainty Propagation through Shake Table Tests (基于振动台试验的地震不确定性影响研究)

Abstract: The propagation of uncertainty in seismic response analysis is the mechanism through which ground motion (GM) uncertainty and structural parameter (SP) uncertainty contribute to response variability, and is critical for accurately quantifying seismic risk in performance-based earthquake engineering (PBEE). Response uncertainty in existing PBEE analyses is estimated either through statistical variance combination approaches or through computationally intensive time history simulations. In general, experimental exploration of the uncertainty propagation is cost prohibitive and impractical. In this paper, a series of shake table tests are conducted to generate statistical seismic response data of 12 nominally identical simple specimens subjected to a suite of 7 earthquakes at different seismic intensity levels. The test data are analyzed in order to decouple the contributions of GM uncertainty and structural parameter uncertainty on response uncertainty with different intensity levels and verifying several basic characteristics about uncertainty propagation. In addition, the accuracy of the square root sum of squares (SRSS), which is a simplified method used to combine different uncertainty sources to calculate the total response uncertainty, is evaluated through comparison with test data.
